Reinvention

Done with the whole funny phase, comes the time for reinvention.

Ive been asked numerous times why the sudden passion for snowboarding. Hell yeah its fun, but that is not it. Snowboarding is so much more then strapping on and ride with the adrenaline rush.

Snowboarding, unlike other sport, there is no way to half-ass it. You are directly penalized for the smallest mistake you make. Be it a tiny twitch that throws you off balance, or getting disoriented in the air and face plant hard, you'll feel PAIN.
PAIN will tell you loud and clear, "you fucked up".

Yet we get up, brush off the snow and ride away for the next big trick, most likely just to fall again. Rinse and repeat until we finally nailed the fs 180s or rodeo 360s that makes it all worth it.

That is what i like about the sport. The attitude.

We stand sideways. We sleep on floors in cramped resort hotel rooms. We get up early and go to sleep late. We've been mocked. We are relentless. We dream it, we make it, we break it, we fix it. We create. We destroy. We wreck ourselves day... in and day out and yet we stomp that one trick or find that one line that keeps us coming back. We progress. We Snowboard.
